Danny is a Colorado native and began tagging along on waterfowl hunts with his father at age 4. Waterfowl hunting has been a big part of his life from that point forward. From the very beginning it was never enough to just live it. He aimed to change it. Whether it has been recognized or not, Danny has laid many stepping stones in which others have followed, always pushing the limits for success. Waterfowl hunting holds a special place in his heart, above all other outdoor activities he enjoys. Danny has seen over 30 years of change in hunting ducks and geese on the front range, yet he has always found the ways to adapt to stay on top. He knows it certainly has not gotten any easier to find success, but falling behind was never an option. His biggest driving factor is wanting to share with others an experience unlike any other. Never has he been a follower, but always a leader in doing things his own way. After spending 16 years as a guide for other outfitters, Danny decided that it was time to make a change. He created Kahler Outdoors as a way to bring our waterfowl experience to the masses and has never looked back.  ​​​
